The collection also contains an autobiographical essay of his trip from Illinois to Kansas in 1887 at age 18; a reminiscence about several Kansas politicians; Kansas State Historical Society (Topeka) correspondence relating to a luncheon in his honor, Oct. 17, 1944; obituaries; newspaper articles; contracts; printed items; and a letter to voters outlining his qualifications for the Kansas Supreme Court.
